When using Metro or desktop IE10, videos (HTML5 or flash) show a green box with only sound playing in the background. This also applies to the Video Metro App and Windows Media Player. This is super annoying.
This was a clean install with no custom codecs.
Graphics card is a Radeon 6990. Issue is the same with the shipping drivers or the updated drivers from AMD.

Right click the mouse on the video, select "settings" and remove the check of "enable hardware acceleration"
