I have the preferences menu, it just doesn't work. I can select "off", then save and it still doesn't change. I'm a savvy programmer, if it takes me a long time then the design stinks! So I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft stinks. Firefox has a better GUI for removing cookies and searches also.
