Hard drive failed. How do I reinstall Win10 without paying for it?
My 7 year old PC's HDD crashed last night. It won't boot. I had upgraded it to Win10 a few months ago. I will replace it with a new SSD. I intend to create a Win10 bootable USB drive from my laptop. What happens to the license activation? I bought my PC from HP with Win7 on it, and it still has the sticker with the product key on the side. Is that enough for me to activate Win10 on it?
