Terminate a Process with Task Manager on Windows 7
How to terminate a process in Task Manager on Windows 7? My Web browser is hanging and it can not be closed. I was told to use Task Manager to terminate the Firefox process.

" If your application, like Web browser, is hanging, you can follow these steps to terminate the process that represents the application:
1. Start the Task Manager as shown in "Start Task Manager on Windows 7" tutorial.
2. Click the "Processes" tab. You will see a list of processes that are currently running on the computer.
3. Select the process you want to terminate, for example, "firefox.exe".
4. Click "End Task" button. "firefox.exe" process and the Firefox application will be terminated immediately.
