~DF*.TMP Temporary Files
What are ~DF*.TMP Temporary Files on my Windows 7 computer? Can I remove them?
✍: FYIcenter.com
~DF*.TMP Temporary Files
are created by the Windows 7 system.
They are located
in the \Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder.
Windows 7 creates one ~DF*.TMP Temporary File every time you start your Windows system with 16 Hex digits in the middle of the file name like "~DF6B863046CE4E3136.TMP".
Some ~DF*.TMP files may contain words like Adobe Photoshop CS5, ns.adobe.com, Exchange Administrative Group, etc. But they are not generated by those applications.
The problem with those ~DF*.TMP files is that Windows system never remove them. So you will a lots of them, after using your Windows 7 for some time.
Yes. You can delete older ~DF*.TMP temporary files. They are useless.
