Removing Files in "Temp" Folder on Windows 7
What files are stored in C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder? Can I delete them?

Files stored in C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder are
temporary files stored by Windows system and applications.
By default, Windows environment variable "TEMP" is set to C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp. But you can change environment variable "TEMP" to another new folder. All programs will start to store temporary flies to that new folder.
Yes, you can delete everything in C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder. However, this may affect some of your applications that uses temporary files.
So review each file in C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Local\Temp folder, before delete it.
