| Difference between a Web Page and a Filtered Web Page | What is the difference between a Web page and a filtered Web page?
Word 2007 supports 2 Web page formats: "Web Page (*.htm; *.html)" and
"Web Page, Filtered (*.htm; *.html)". What is the difference between them?
| | By: .fyicenter.com | The difference between the "Web Page (*.htm; *.html)" format
and the "Web Page, Filtered (*.htm; *.html)" format is that:
"Web Page (*.htm; *.html)" format uses Microsoft Office specific tags

"Web Page, Filtered (*.htm; *.html)" uses only regular tags
to format the Web page. Some formatting features from from the original word document
are lost (filtered out).
