Set Windows 7 Bluetooth Discoverable by Others
How can I set my Windows 7 discoverable by other Bluetooth devices? I want to initiate a Bluetooth connection from my cell phone to my Windows 7 computer.

You can set up your Windows 7 computer to be discoverable by other Bluetooth
devices using these steps:
1. Click the Windows "Start" button.
2. Type in "Change Bluetooth Settings" in the Search field and press the "Enter" key. You will see the "Bluetooth Settings" window showing up.

3. Check the checkbox on "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" as shown in the picture below:
4. Click "OK" to save the change.
Warning: To protect your privacy, set your computer to be discoverable only when you want a Bluetooth device to find your computer.
