Can't login with a Long Password (> 16 characters)

I changed my local account to a Microsoft account. When I did this, was necessary my password, fine, I've typed it and everything worked ok, but when I tried to login again on windows 8, the system awlays say that my password is incorrect. Could anyone tell me what's happening?

by chance is your password longer than 16 characters? If so, can you please try to log in using only the first 16 characters of your password?
