People app connecting to facebook issue

Windows 8 issue on the people app. When I try to connect to facebook or twitter so far I get the following error.
-There seems to be some trouble connecting this service to Windows Live right now. Please try again later.-
I've tried numerous times with no luck please help me with this.

1. Have you logged in using Live account or Local account?
2. Have you made any recent changes to the system prior the issue?

Method:
Follow these steps, uninstall and re-install the people app. Then check if you can connect to Facebook using the app.
Follow these steps and check if it helps.
a) Right click on the People, click on Uninstall.
b) Press Windows Key + F, click on store.
c) Click on Mail, Calendar, People and Messaging App.
d) Click on Install.

Note: Uninstalling People App will also uninstall Mail,
Calendar, People and Messaging Apps.
