Complete reinstall pc, with windows 7 that was updated to win 8
Soon I'll be reinstalling my pc, new drive setup etc. Originally I installed win 7, when win 8 came out I updated. I have a win 7 install cd, and the key that I needed for the update to win 8. What are the steps to take; I assume I have to deactivate my licence, format the drives, install and: 1 download and install win 8 and use the key for that. :) or 2 install win 7 from the cd and then update to win 8 again. :( So is it a key for only the update or for the complete win 8 version? And when It's possible to directly install win 8, can I use my win 7 install cd for a different pc after deactivating it?
