Windows 8 built in camera not connected?
I haven't even had my brand new MSI GE-70 2OE for 24 hours yet. From the moment i tried using the camera/skype apps, the camera has not been connected.
Troubleshooter detects no problems.
I'm having trouble even accessing my device driver.
I've googled it and checked these forums and nothing has helped me. I'm not sure where to connect it. My computer doesn't even seem to recognize that I have a webcam.

Could you answer few questions:
1. What happens when you try to use the webcam for desktop apps?
2. Do you get any error message?
3. Did you run Hardware and Device troubleshooter?
You may face this issue if the web cam drivers is not installed on the computer or if it’s corrupted.
Try updating the webcam driver from “Device Manager†and check if it helps:
a. Press “Windows key + W†from the keyboard.
b. Type “Device Manager†without quotes in the search box and hit Enter.
c. Search for “Webcam†from the list of devices.
d. Right click on your “Webcam†and then select “Updateâ€.
e. Restart the computer for changes to take effect.
