Windows 8 deleted my Admin account with a Regular one?

I tried to do some video editing for school, so I plug in my iPad to copy the video clips and try to install an app (on the admin account, our default one as we don't have another). The app wants a login, so I login with mine. After I finish, I try to log back to the admin account, only to find that it is gone. It's not even showing up underneath the "sign out" button. Now apps and even the PC settings won't even open. What is this?

You said you put your password into an app and then it caused this? What app did it? If I were you I would run a quick system restore back to 24 hours ago and undo the damage it caused. This restore won't change your files, it only reverts back any changed registry values. It takes about 2 minutes, and if you don't like it you can undo it, so you have nothing lose to try.
