Mouse and touchpad not working
My touchpad stopped working a few days ago and now my mouse doesn't work either and the batteries aren't even dead, how do I fix my touchpad and how do I fix my mouse? (fyi my touchpad works on my guest account but not on my main account however the mouse doesn't work on the guest account either)

Method 1: I would suggest you to run “Hardware and Devices†troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue.
a. Press “Windows key + Wâ€.
b. Type “Troubleshooting†without quotes in the Search box and hit enter.
c. Select “Hardware and Sound†from the Troubleshooter Window.
d. Select “Hardware and Devices†under Devices option.
e. Follow the On Screen instructions.
Method 2: Un-install and re-install touchpad drivers from the manufacturer’s website and see if that helps.
Step 1: Uninstall the touchpad drivers.
a. Press “Windows Key + W†from the keyboard.
b. Type “device Manager†without quotes in the search box and hit enter.
c. Right click on the touchpad drivers and select “Uninstallâ€.
d. Restart the computer once it is uninstalled.
Step 2: Download the latest Windows 8 touchpad drivers from manufacturer’s website.
