Duplicate music files galore!

Win8.1, Win Media Player 12 Way too many duplicate files in 3 or 4 directories. Is there an easy (sensible?) way to trim them down?

You could use a program that can try to identify and remove duplicates, but there's a problem: if the files are different (different types of audio files, different compression rates, etc), then it won't see them as a duplicate.
