Asus Vivo Tab RT stuck on configuration screen after device reset

I just recently bought the Asus Vivo Tab RT (TF600T) and wanted to reset the device to factory settings, but it has been stuck on the "Preparing to Configure Windows" screen for almost an hour now. What should I do? I thought this was supposed to be quick?

Disconnect the external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) except mouse and the keyboard and then boot up.
Try to turn off and turn on the device and check,
