Q

Can I disable Windows service "Help and Support" to speedup my computer?

✍: FYIcenter.com

A
Windows service "Help and Support" - Enables Help and Support Center to run on this computer. If this service is stopped, Help and Support Center will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

Execution command: C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

If you don't want to get Microsoft on-line help documents, you can disable "Help and Support", freeing up at least 1MB of memory.

Follow our Disabling Windows Service tutorial, if you want to disable this service.
