If you have NetZero installed, this exec.exe will run all the time, even if you not using the dialup connection. Check the C:\Program Files\NetZero directory, you will see the debug log file: IspDblog.txt. Open it to see some interesting information.
exec.exe is also the executable for a very high security risk trojan program: W32/Spybot-Z Trojan. Double check the exec.exe file infomation listed above to make sure that you are running NetZero exec.exe, not the trojan exec.exe.
