✍: FYIcenter.com
Few months after bought your new computer, you will probably get a surprising popup window displaying the following message:
Your device isn't fully protected Get the most from our mcAfee protection by keeping your subscription active and enabling all your security features. [Buy] [Close] McAfee | LiveSafe
Don't panic. McAfee is using this popup to try to sell you their LiveSafe antivirus subscription package.
If you already installed other antivirus applications from McAfee or other vendors, you can simply click "Close" to close the popup.
If you don't have antivirus application on your computer, you may take a look at the "McAfee LifeSafe" subscription service:
1. Click "Start > All Programs > McAfee > McAfee LifeSafe". You see McAfee LiveSafe screen showing up with this message:
You computer is at risk Buy a subscription - Your trial subscription has expired. Don't leave your PC defenseless against the latest threats - buy a subscription now to stay protected.
1. Click "Start > All Programs > McAfee > McAfee LifeSafe". You see McAfee LiveSafe screen showing up with this message:
2. Click "Buy", if you want to buy the McAfee LifeSafe subscription service.
3. Close McAfee LiveSafe screen, if you don't want to buy it.
