How to start a program upon login automatically?
In Windows 7 or Vista or XP, I could have a program start when I logged in by putting it in the startup folder in the start menu. How do I do that in the Windows 8 release preview?

Navigate to the following location and paste the program launch icon you want to launch on startup in the startup folder.
‘C:\Users\(User-Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup’
(Where ‘C’ is the operating system drive).
To view the ‘Appdata’ folder you will have to unhide folder. Refer the following steps:
a) Open ‘Windows Explorer’ and click the ‘View’ tab on the ribbon.
b) Click on ‘Options’ and click on ‘Change folder and search options’.
c) Click on the ‘View’ tab and under ‘Advanced Settings’; Check the radio button ‘Show hidden files, folders and drives’ & Uncheck ‘Hide protected operating system files’. Click on ‘Yes’ when the warning message pops up.
NOTE: After completing the troubleshooting steps; follow steps ‘a’ to ‘c’ and click on ‘Hide hidden files, folders and drives’ & check the box ‘Hide protected operating system files’.
