Bug: Windows 8 RC very unstable on a machine where the beta was perfectly stable
It looks like the Windows Media Player causes my Windows 8 to crash if I play a MP4 video (H264, AAC). With VLC is looks okay. But I will have a closer look over the next days... After it happens, I can not do anything else as power off the device and reboot it. The event viewer just shows, that the device goes unexpected down. Anyone else have this problem? I hope, that anything else is okay and stable :-)
It happend twice today while wathing a TV recoding.

I would suggest you to try updating the graphics card and check if it works.
Update a driver for hardware that isn’t working properly:

Note: It applies to Windows 8 as well.
