Windows 8 metro photos not sort by name

The photos app doesn't sort pictures by name. Is there any setting for it? or update for the app? I really like the scroll feature.

There is no option to sort the pictures by name in the Photo app. This is because, the Photo app shows the same arrangement as in the File Explorer for your convenience. So if you want the pictures to be sorted according to their names, then I would suggest you open that folder in File Explorer, click on the “View” menu and select “Sort by” and select sort by name. Now the files would be arranged according to their names and the same arrangement will reflect in the Photo app.
