Bluetooth problem in HP Probook 4540s

There is problem of Bluetooth connection in HP Probook 4540s. I can not use it since in specification of the laptop there is written that Bluetooth exists. Any one who can guide me here....

It could be an issue with the driver for the Bluetooth device installed on the computer. It could also be an issue related to the Bluetooth settings when you try to connect to the device to the computer.

Which Bluetooth device are you trying to connect to your computer?

Check the status of the Bluetooth in device manger. Refer the following steps.

a) Press Windows Key and R key together and type devmgmt.msc in the run box.

b) Locate the Bluetooth device and expand the driver icon.

c) See if there is any exclamation mark or any error.

Also make sure that you have turned ON the Bluetooth switch on your laptop. Refer your computer user manual to find out the switch to turn ON the Bluetooth switch.

I would suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned below.

Method 1: Make sure that Bluetooth support service is started. Refer the steps to check the service

a) Press Windows Key and R key together and type services.msc.

b) Locate Bluetooth support service. Make sure that this service is started.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to run Hardware and devices troubleshooter to diagnose and fix the issue.

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter.

a) Press Windows key + W from the keyboard.

b) Type Troubleshooting without quotes in the search box.

c) Select Troubleshooting option from the list.

d) Select View all option from the left panel.

e) Select Hardware and Devices and follow On-screen instructions.
