With the installation of bridge version 2.0.0.1363, which should be compatible with windows 8 as confirmed by Microsoft, i am running into an installation issue with respect to the required driver.

The error is as follows:

There is nothing on any forum to be found with respect to this failure message, however the program installed and worked fine when running Windows 7...

Can you please advise what steps to take to resolve it, since I'm only a newbee in Windows 8 and haven't found my way around yet...

I would suggest you to install Gbridge 2.0 in clean boot. clean boot will disable all the third party programs.
