How do i change and fix the computer to the correct date??

I know how to change the time zones but its on the wrong date! it says its the 16th but its not!! I don't know how to fix it and office wont open because it says its not updated to the correct time!!

Click the clock in the system tray (right hand corner). Click change date & time>change date and time>enter the correct date,
