Check 64-bit Version of Windows Server 2008
How can I tell if my computer is running a 32-bit or a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008?

To find out if your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008,
you can do the following:
1. On Windows Server 2008 Start screen, right-mouse click on "Computer". You will see a context menu displayed.
2. Select "Properties" in the context menu. You will see the system properties screen displayed.
3. Check the "System Type" property. If it says "64-bit Operating System", then you are running the 64-bit version. Otherwise, you are running the 32-bit version. For example:
System ... System type: 64-bit Operating System ...
