have dell computer with serial number for installation of window xp but no cd. so i got a cd hoping to be able to use the original serial number because the computer didn't come with cd and it corrupted so have to format. So tried this and it installs the window okay but doesn't let me change the registration that screen to put in the code does not come up and so the operation system comes up with the code off the cd for another computer. need help
