Service Dependencies on Windows XP Service Console
What are dependencies of a service on the Windows XP Services console?

Dependencies of a service include two groups of services, system drivers and components that are related to this service:
You can review dependencies of a service with the Services console on Windows XP.
1. Start the Services console as shown in the previous tutorial.
2. Scroll service list up and down to locate the service that you are interested in, for example "Print Spooler".
3. Double-click on "Print Spooler". You will see the "Print Spooler Properties" screen showing up with the "General" tab.
4. Click the "Dependencies" tab. You will see two dependency lists. For example:
