PHP Installation Problem with php5ts.dll

What is wrong if you get an execution error: "The procedure entry point _zval_dtor could not be located in the dynamic link library php5ts.dll"?

If you followed our Installing PHP Engine tutorial, you may run into the following execution error:

1. Open command line window and run the following command:

C:>cd \

C:\>cd Program Files
C:\Program Files>cd php-5.2.0-Win32
C:\Program Files\php-5.2.0-Win32>php -version

2. You will get an error message box saying: "The procedure entry point _zval_dtor could not be located in the dynamic link library php5ts.dll", as shown in the picture below: php5ts.dll Error

3. If you click OK on the error message box, you will get several similar error messages.

4. Finally, you will get some errors in the command window:

C:\Program Files\php-5.2.0-Win32>php -version
PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
   './php_curl.dll' - The specified procedure could not be
   found. in Unknown on line 0

The error messages tell us that your PHP engine is trying to load some libraries, but those libraries could not be located. See our Configuring PHP Environments tutorial for solution.

I heard good recommendations about Desktop Security 2010 - and installed it, and it even cured a few viruses after NOD antivirus. Now I just never remind of my problems with viruses. 3. I think that it is one of the best anti-viruses, at least for me - it provides user-friendly menu, easy settings, it doesn't slow down my pc and its visual environment looks nice. To get php5ts.dll you MUST have the Thread Safe version

My resolution for the win32 binary installer was to change the install folder to c:\php Quickest and easiest way.. everything worked after that.
