svchost.exe - Service - Server

Q

Can I disable Windows service "Server" to speedup my computer?

✍: FYIcenter.com

A
Windows service "Server" - Supports file, print, and named-pipe sharing over the network for this computer. If this service is stopped, these functions will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

Execution command: C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

It is unlikely that you want to share your files and printers to other computers over the network. So you should disable "Server", freeing up at least 1MB of memory.
