I am attempting to download windows 8 on my pc with a blank hard drive and everything. I have the windows on a USB and i start my computer with the windows on it that i just bought yesterday(12/28/13) and it continues to give me the blue screen tellling me that my PC needs to be repaired. To repair it, you have to get past the language selection and i believe it is on the install now screen (correct me if im wrong). Unfortunately i cant get there. Also it tells me i am missing a critical system driver or contains errors. The file it lists is \windows\System32\drivers\megasr.sys. Help would be greatly appreciated as i have been attempting to fix this for quite some time, and we all know how stressful that can be.

1. What is the make and model of the PC?
2. What do you mean by a blank hard drive? Does this PC contain an Operating System?
3. Are you on a RAID configuration?
I searched for the file megasr.sys and found that it is a driver file belonging to MegaRAID Software.
