cant reach all areas of screen without shaking or lifting my mouse

In certain games i have to lift up my mouse and move it in the direction i want and set it back down so i can reach higher or wider objects on the screen. its like the mouse comes to the end but it wont flow all the way without me lifting it up

Clean your mouse
Dampen a lint-free cloth or cotton swab with mild soap and water and gently wipe the outer surface of the mouse, the wheel, and the optical sensor.
