| Using Windows Task Manager to Monitor Running Programs | | How to review running programs with Windows Task Manager? | | By: FYIcenter.com | On your Windows system, there are two categories running programs:
- Applications - Programs that are launched by yourself manually.
- Processes - Programs that are launched by the system as background services and
as start up programs.
If you want see all programs that are currently running on your system,
you can use Windows Task Manager.
2. Press <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del> keys together. Windows Security dialog box shows up.
2. Click the Task Manager button. Windows Task Manager window shows up.
3. Click the Processes tab. All running programs will be listed in the
Windows Task Manager window as shown in this picture:
