Missing Files in Windows 8
Files and icons randomly disappear in Windows 8. I have the same problem with files on the desktop and in file folders. I can not find an answer to the problem anywhere, but I did find that many people on the web have the same problem with Windows 8. It is so frustrating since the files are there, but they are not showing up. If you want to attach the file to an email or to some social media, when you search for the file through email or social media - it shows up. But, you can go directly to the file or desktop icon and it is missing (hidden).
