I am having issues with the Windows 10 GWX in the taskbar;i choose only to show notifications but then again the next day it appears as show icon and notifications...i feel i am forced to see this everyday even if i dont want it...how can i fix this

You can try the below method to hide it from the task bar: Right click the taskbar and select properties.

Under taskbar tab select customize.

Select only show notification or hide icon and notification.

This issue might be caused due to user account corruption, we can try to create a new admin account and check if it helps.
