If want to see what applications are currently running on your Windows 8 computer,
you can follow this steps:
1. Start the Task Manager as shown in the previous tutorial.
2. Click the "Processes" tab. You will see a list of applications displayed in the first section of the process list.
3. Review each application on the list. You should be able to recognize all of them, because those applications were started by yourself.
Note that it is normal that you may see a single application name appears multiple times.
This is because you are running multiple copies of the same application simultaneously.

There are 3 copies of "Notepad" application running on this computer.
