Updating Daylight Saving Time in 2007 on Windows XP Automatically
How to update daylight saving time and time zone in 2007 automatically on Windows XP for United States, Canada and Mexico?

Starting in year 2007, United States, Canada and Mexico will change starting and ending dates of Daylight Saving Time. See our other Daylight Saving Time tutorials.
If bought your computer before 2007, your Windows XP system will not follow the new starting and ending dates correctly. But you can fix your system with Microsoft Update program using this tutorial:
1. Go to Daylight Saving Time Update for Windows XP page.
2. Download the following file:
File Name: WindowsXP-KB931836-x86-ENU.exe Version: 931836 Knowledge Base (KB) Articles: KB931836 Date Published: 2/7/2007 Language: English Download Size: 501 KB
3. Double click on WindowsXP-KB931836-x86-ENU.exe to run the update program.
4. Folllow the instructions to finish the update. Your system will be updated with the new starting and ending dates of Daylight Saving Time.
