Click your Start button at the bottom of your screen. When the menu pops up, click on the Control Panel link.
The Control Panel folder will open and you will see different icons in the folder. If you can't see the icons, do this. Go to the top of your window and click Tools > Folder Options. When the window opens, click on the View Tab. Under Hidden Files and Folder, tick the Show Hidden Files button. Click Apply and then the OK button. Now you should see your icons.
Double click on the Mouse icon in the Control Panel folder. The Mouse Properties box will open. This is where you will change the mouse settings.
Click on the Pointers Options tab in the Mouse Properties window. In the bottom of the window you will see the visibility options. Change the options to what you want. Click the Apply button to apply the changes.
Click the OK button to close the Mouse Properties box. That's how you change your mouse.
