If you follow our Listing Startup Application tutorial,
you will see that there are 3 types of values in the Location column that represend 3 ways of how startup
applications are configure:
- Registry - Startup applications can be configured in system registry in locations like:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
- Common startup - Startup applications can be configured in the common login profile area:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
- Startup - Startup applications can be configured in your own login profile area:
C:\Documents and Settings\your_login\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
