When you add or edit media information manually for your digital media files, the information is added to the files after a period of time, which varies depending upon how many changes you have made and whether the Player is performing any processor-intensive actions. Before you move the files to your new computer, update the files immediately by doing the following:
On your old computer, in Windows Media Player, on the Tools menu, click Process Media Information Now.
