Can I disable Windows service "Cryptographic Services" to speedup my computer?

A
Windows service "Cryptographic Services" - Provides three management services: Catalogue Database Service, which confirms the signatures of Windows files; Protected Root Service, which adds and removes Trusted Root Certification Authority certificates from this computer; and Key Service, which helps enrol this computer for certificates. If this service is stopped, these management services will not function properly. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

Execution command: C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs

This service will affect Windows Updates service and Windows Media Player. If you don't use them, you can disable "Cryptographic Services", freeing up at least 1MB of memory

Follow our Disabling Windows Service tutorial, if you want to disable this service.
