Can I disable Windows service "Distributed Transaction Coordinator" to speedup my computer?

Execution command: C:\WINDOWS\System32\msdtc.exe
If you are using your computer at home, you can disable "Distributed Transaction Coordinator", freeing up at least 1MB of memory.
If you are using your computer on an office network and not doing any distributed computing, you can still disable this service.
