I can't even sign in to Skype in Windows 8!

Since installing Windows 8 evaluation prog I am unable to sign into Skype. The FAQ page on Skype is most unhelpful.

The current Skype version is 5.9.x, and it has no known problems with win 8. Older versions do. If you are running the newest version you will need to contact Skype as it is their software.
