Does this issue occur when you connect a particular USB device or happens when you connect any USB device?
Follow these steps and check if that helps.
a) Click on ‘Start’ and click on ‘Control Panel’.
b) Click on ‘Hardware and Sound’ and then click on ‘Sound’.
c) Click on ‘communications’ tab and select ‘Do nothing’.
d) Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’.
