"Please Wait" screen occurs when starting up computer and locking the computer [ WIndows 8 ]
Have been experiencing this problem for 2 days. Before this, my MSI GE-60 laptop could boot up within minutes and I could lock my screen (Windows Button + L) in seconds. But right now, it takes up to 5-10 minutes to boot up my computer or lock my screen, stuck on the "Please Wait" screen. Can anyone shed any light on how I can debug or repair this issue? I have done a system restore to a date before this error occurred, but with no avail.

Were there any changes made on the computer prior to the issue?
Are you connected to the internet?
Have you installed the OneDrive?
This issue might occur when OneDrive (formerly known as SkyDrive) is trying to synchronize the data by connecting to the internet.
