Can't get camera to operate in Snapchat using bluestacks.

Q

My laptop camera works fine when I go to the camera manually. But when I open Snapchat inside bluestacks the camera won't work at all. I can't seem to get my computer to recognize snapchat when I go into the section to allow the camera to work with apps on the computer. Any suggestions to a quick fix? I uninstalled both and reinstalled both and shut the computer down both time with no luck.

I understand that the built-in webcam does not work with a particular app but works fine otherwise. I would certainly assist you to troubleshoot the issue in the right direction. However, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions to narrow down the issue and provide you with better assistance.
Is the webcam detected by the Camera app?
Has the issue started to occur recently? If so, did you make any significant changes to the computer prior to this issue?
What is the exact make and model no. of your laptop?

As the issue seems to be arising with a specific app, I would suggest you to try the following methods that diagnose issues with the installed apps and their compatibility with the system.

Method 1:
Download and run the Modern UI App troubleshooter and check if it helps.
