How do I take a screen shot within any of the Windows 8 apps using Surface Pro?
I'm able to use the snipping tool when in Windows 7 desktop view, but I'm unable to take snapshots of my screen when running Windows 8 apps. There is also no 'print screen' button on the Surface keyboard.

Follow the steps given here to take a screen shots from your Surface Pro.
You can take a screenshot of your “custom†Surface start screen (or any other screen for that
matter) just follow these two simple steps.
a) Touch and hold down on the Windows 8 logo on the Surface.
b) While doing that, press the volume down button once, then release.
The screen will dim for a brief second. This is your confirmation that screenshot was taken. You can find the screenshot in the Screenshots album in the Photos app. From there you can navigate to your screenshot.
