Installed a TV Tuner card and TV Home Media 3 for watching TV in my Laptop which has inbuilt windows 8 as operating system and i dont want to change the operating system.

TV Home Media is playing the TV but with no sound. but when the same is bieng installed in windows 7, it is working effectively. How Can I resolve the matter?

This issue might occur if any system settings are not set correctly or the driver are not getting updated or corrupted.

Method 1: Uninstall the driver from Device Manager.

I would like to request you to please uninstall the Sound Driver and reinstall it back once again. Please follow the steps given below to uninstall the Printer Driver.

Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.

2. Select Device Manager.

3. Find and double-click Sound driver from the left panel to uninstall.

4. Right-click the device, and click Uninstall.

5. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

6. After the uninstallation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Method 2: Update the Sound driver.

Please follow the steps given here.

Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.

Select Device Manager.

Double-click Sound driver from the left panel to Update.

4. Right-click the device, and click Update driver Software.

5. Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

Please reboot your computer.
