Hello Camera won't tun on
My "hello camera" won't turn on; thus, signing on by face recognition doesn't work. It just sits on "turning on camera" forever. Did the 2 key reboot, shut downs, etc.
Interestingly, the detach icon always says "surface detach: detached" even when I am attached. And it doesn't work to detach the screen. the hardware button works, but not the on screen one.
All of this used to work fine.

Try restarting your Surface via Start> Power> Restart and then see if it works. Do this instead of shutting down and turning back on.
You may also use the option of Scan for hardware changes in device manager.
a: Press Windows key + X.
b: Then click Device Manager.
c: Then click scan for hardware changes button present below the help menu.
