Yahoo! Toolbar offers you nice features, but it also consumes huge
resources from your Windows system, and presents some security risk.
If you are concerned, you should remove Yahoo! Toolbar from your
Internet Explorer (IE) browser.
To remove Yahoo! Toolbar, try to use the Control Panel > Add/Remove Program tool first:
1. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.
2. Find Yahoo! Toolbar in the program list, and click the Remove button.
Yahoo! Toolbar Uninstall dialog box shows up. Finish the uninstallation process.
3. Run HijackThis system scan.
You will see some Yahoo! Toolbar settings left by the uninstallation program:

4. Select both lines in HijackThis report and click the Fix Checked button
to remove those remaining configuration settings from your system. |
